Hello Soft Movement Practitioners
Here is a link to a Zoom class called Step Two, step One you have been doing all this time. Following and doing the best you can. You know that you can use this as an exercise, stretching and moving joints and muscles. And we are okay with that, this Step Two is about body awareness. Take one or two movements and concentrate on them. See if you can do them without looking and what are you thinking about while doing the movement. When your mind keeps going off maybe you had enough or you just need to put more effort into it. Bring it up in class and you will see we all have the same issues. We want the movement to become a little more of a meditation. This way blood and energy can flow around the body, and reduce stress. Meaning you are concentrating a little more on your movement, and feelings. So when I say no stretching you can recognize it and try to do a few moves without that stretch. Don’t worry we have said all this before and will be saying it again and again.
